What a fun time of year! I am not one for haunted houses and being scared (I’m a wimp, I know), but I love the festive spirit, the weather change, and of course, PUMPKINS!

This week the Casey Clan did a little crafting with a pumpkin pie pumpkin. They are the little baby pumpkins that run for about $1.99 at Target. We also used some black and white crafting paint that I had around the house. I like to use the DecoArt brand.
We put a nice layer of white paint on Baby L’s foot and pressed it onto the pumpkin. We did it heel first and made sure to push the tootsies in really good and came out with a perfect footprint on the first try! Disclaimer: It was a two person job :). I let that color dry overnight and then added the face with the black paint. I just used the tip of my finger for that step.
I literally just used the pumpkin and paint for this craft. You can go back and do several coats of paint and have fun with different faces; make it your own!
