Baby L’s birthday is right around the corner and part of the prep is to make sure that I’ve got thank you cards ready to go. I really wanted to do special thank you cards for Baby Boy’s first birthday and since he can’t write yet I decided to have him “sign” his cards with a hand print! Y’all know how much I love hand and foot print crafts, so this one was a no-brainer!

Supplies
I gathered the few supplies that we needed. I ordered some blank thank you cards and paint for the occasion. I love the colors that come in this set.
I also keep a set of spongy paint brushes to get the paint evenly on Baby L’s hand.
Instructions
Apply the paint to your baby’s hand and just go for it! Your little one will most likely want to squish the paint in their hands and play a little bit and that’s okay! Make it a bit of an activity. Try to get your baby’s hand print on the front of the card as best you can and move on to the next one. Every hand print is not going to be perfect, but that’s what makes this thank you card/keepsake for your guests special!
Finishing Touches
I let the cards dry overnight and then wrote “Thank You” on the front of the card and a personalized message on the inside. I also pre-made my address labels because I wanted to get these cards out within a few days of the party.
