I cannot believe Christmas is around the corner! We are moved into our new house and finally got the tree up last weekend. I can’t believe we have a new little stocking to add to our mantle this year.

This week the Casey Clan decided to do another footprint craft. This little memory just needs some cardstock paper, green paint and a red sharpie.
To prep for this craft, I printed up a template that says “Mistletoes” on the bottom of cardstock paper. I printed 5 just in case Baby L decided to be extra wiggly 🙂 Turned out, we only needed one, so we used the extras to give out as gifts for the grandparents. We do so many hand and footprint crafts with Baby L that I finally invested in some foam paint brushes (instead of finger painting the paint onto Baby L).
We put a nice layer of green paint onto Baby L’s foot (he is extra ticklish now, so that was fun) and pressed his foot (heel first) into the paper. As I said in my Spooky Footprint post, this is much easier as a two person job 🙂 Let the paint dry overnight and you can use your red sharpie to draw the ribbon, you can make a bow, or add some glitter.
